MOTHER OF ALL ASCENSIONS UPHILL RACE

Fat Tuesday, February 13th – Friday, February 23rd, 2024

The Mother is coming … the Mother is coming!

So grab your snowshoes, alpine touring gear, stabilizers and/or split boards and head to Snowmass Base Village to complete the marked on-mountain uphill route to High Alpine Marketplace (formerly known as Gywns High Alpine).

This means you don’t have to show up Mardi Gras morning at 7 AM, unless of course you want to get an early start on celebrating Fat Tuesday! Be sure to dress up if you do!

REGISTRATION FEE: $40 – Opening soon!

You may sign up at any time until the event ends at 12 NOON on Friday, February 23rd.

The uphill course starts slope side on Fanny Hill in Snowmass Base Village and ascends to the High Alpine Marketplace. Register online, sign the Aspen Ski Co. waiver and pick your day to support the Aspen Hope Center.

For those with an ASC 2024 Uphill Pass, all you need to do is register, sign the MOAA waiver and do the High Alpine course in the eleven 11-day event window.

If you do not have an ASC 2024 Uphill Pass, there will be no separate uphill pass fee for the MOAA again this winter. You MUST however initial the ASC Uphill wavier when registering and keep a copy of it with you, either printed or on your phone, when you are on the mountain during the 11-day event window.
